EARTHQUAKE RESILIENCE OF ELAZIĞ WITH PHOTOGRAPHS
Millions of photographs have been taken of our beautiful city of Elazığ, capturing countless traces of the past, immortalizing both the good and the bad. Photographs seem to speak the unspeakable, expressing situations and emotions that words cannot describe, as if through countless sentences. We have repeatedly pointed out the low earthquake resilience of the building stock in our country and in Elazığ. We wanted to bring the reality of earthquakes, which we may not be able to express or visualize, to life through photographs. Our goal is to bring the issue of buildings with insufficient earthquake resilience to the forefront. The necessity of urban transformation is once again highlighted.
